Why do companies outsource human resources?

Outsourcing HR functions can help you manage employee performance and development. HR providers implement performance management plans to ensure employees comply with company policies and procedures and successfully meet your business goals. They periodically monitor employee performance and report findings to management. This reduces the workload of your managers by minimizing their administrative responsibilities.

TOP REASONS TO OUTSOURCE HR FUNCTIONS:

1. Cost Savings

Overhead costs associated with performing HR services are typically very high. A fully-functional HR department requires additional office space and highly trained and experienced HR staff. Many small businesses simply can’t afford this expense and find that it’s more cost-effective to outsource HR functions. Outsourcing HR helps reduce your costs and helps you avoid trying to financially maintain nonrevenue-generating back-office expenses. Furthermore, HR outsourcing costs are variable and can be reduced when business needs a warrant.

2. Payroll and Accounting

The cost of outsourcing payroll is very cheap compared to the cost of maintaining an in-house payroll staff. The outsourced company can be responsible for employee pay slips, advising on tax and deduction questions and also offer a payroll analysis for accounting purposes. This frees up time in calculating the payroll and dealing with different and sometimes difficult employee situations.

3. Efficiency: When you outsource HR functions, managers spend more time focusing on their skills making the workplace more efficient –what a business owner wants to thrive.
Forget investing time with employees on developing engagement initiatives –compliance issues will consume all of your time. These are good reasons to consider HR outsourcing.

4. Compliance Management: This is one area where many small businesses really struggle to keep up, especially with the changing laws pertaining to hiring, insurance claims management, and benefits regulations. The greatest challenge is that failure to comply can lead to serious financial consequences. Outsourcing HR functions to a trusted provider can help you understand and take action to comply with these laws and regulations.

5. Insurance and Other benefits: As our economy improves, employers are looking for ways to incentivize and motivate their staff. PEO firms provide small employers with the unique opportunity to offer their staff a robust and comprehensive array of employee benefits that are typically available to only the largest corporations. These robust offerings include a wide range of major medical plans and voluntary benefit offerings.

Xeam Ventures is one best HR Outsourcing Company, which can handle Hr, Payroll and Compliance Management of any Organisation.

How Can I Get Job ?

Nowadays Getting Job is not an easy task. People with higher qualification even facing a lot of problems when they are searching for Jobs. In the current scenario, competition for taking the job is quite big, due to which employees have to work in low salaries. To get a Job, you have to compete positively.
There are several ways to Get Job, here I am going to discuss a few of them.
1. Always try to make your career in that field which has long run. When we are starting our career this is the point which gives a turn to your life. A wrong decision leads to dull life and Right decision leads to Bright future. Let's take an example, in today's scenario everybody is doing engineer and everybody wants to be a good engineer and they paid a lot to become an engineer but still after that he is not getting his expected salary, the reason behind this is huge competition. So, we have to think wisely here. Now the point comes, how to think wisely, let me elaborate this as well. As we all might now all the famous Job Portal. We can check from these portals that which technology or which work field has higher Jobs Available. This thing will give you a hint that which field you need to choose.
But sometimes, your career selection depends on our Area too, there might be chances that the particular field is famous in some other region should not famous in your current region where you want to get Job. Let's take an example, let's say a student belongs to JK or any other hilly area and want to become an engineer but he is confused in which field he should take that he can work easily near his hometown. Then if he thinks wisely he comes to know that in hilly area jobs of civil engineering are higher so he can make his career in Civil engineer field. In same this thing work for different scenarios.
2. Try to Make Good Resume/CV: Resume/Cv is one the most important point which can be the reason for your selection or rejection. A good resume always encourages recruiters to do interview call to candidate. Always try to add a summary in your resume at the initial. As whenever recruiter is screening resume they are in a hurry, they will take only 10-20 secs to decide whether they are going to call a candidate or Not.
3. Try to Apply in Reputed Company: There are many advantages to choose Big Reputed companies instead of choosing the local. One of the major benefits is you will get seniors who can guide, in this way you will be able to learn quickly and efficiently. Moreover, Job Security is there in case of Big Companies.
4. Market Research: Always do a marketing research for the company in which you are Applying, As in it will tell you how exactly the company atmosphere is and you will be able to know what company actually do, this thing will be helpful for you to make your resume more impressive according to the desire of the recruiter.
For Example: If a person with 0 years experience have to apply for sales executive post in one of known company, then what he will do as an initial step:-
a) First of all, he can check the company profile from the Internet. Like how many members are there in the company, what type of infrastructure a company has, what are the projects the company has and what kind of staff there are having.
b) Reviews: You can also check the company reviews given by other people and company employees. As we have many websites which can tell us about the company and its reviews given by people. Glassdoor, Mouthshut, and Google Reviews, etc are one of the known websites which can specify about the company and its reviews. A company with a higher rating means employees are happy with their company.
5. Checking JD: This is one of the most important tasks for the Jobseeker which can lead to his Job. Let's continue the salesperson example, if a company wants to hire a salesperson and need some responsibilities then it will be good to build your resume/cv Accordingly. Trust me, this thing which increases the chances of your resume selection.
6. Getting Prepared for Interview: Always try to be in a comfortable form while giving the interview. No nervousness will be accepted. You need to confident and smart enough while giving your Answer. As if you answer to the question for which you don't have an idea or have little bit Idea, and you answer the things which even you don't know practically that will leads the recruiter to ask the questions from your answer and then in this case you will get stuck.
Let's take an example: Let's say, you are applying for profile and interviewer ask you question which you didn't do it practically but theoretically you know ,then in this case generally 90% off the job seekers answer that question and get stuck further when interviewer asks further practical question from the Answer Given By You.
My suggestion would be, Always be clear in front of the interviewer if they ask any question which does not know, just say them, sir, i have little theoretical knowledge about this but I haven't practiced it yet. Trust me, you will get credit even for this answer too.
So basically these are few points which can convert any Job Seeker to Employee of organization. If you are also a Job Seeker and Looking for Good Jobs, please refer this link: Current Openings
You will find multiple Jobs Here at multiple Locations.

Why your business needs a payroll management system?

In every organisation, employees can be full-timers, part-timers, consultants, freelancers, contractors – who work for the company in various positions and receive monetary compensation for their services. These employees are said to be on the ‘company payroll’.

‘Payroll’ is the process of payment of salaries or wages to employees for the work done by them.

However, the term payroll isn’t restricted to salaries. There are other aspects such as withholding taxes, Provident Fund, bonuses, incentives, overtime compensation, consultant fees, etc. All this needs to be calculated for every employee, every month. This calculation

the process is called the ‘payroll system’, and it is handled by the payroll department.

What is the Payroll Management System?

A payroll management system is an administration system that calculates the salary due to an employee and the tax to be deducted. All it needs is the input of basic data like the salary or wages of the employee and leaves taken. The software keeps track of the hours worked, salary due, taxes to be deducted, and can even print cheques for employees and the government (for taxes).

So, To maintain the salaries of the employees without any delay and errors we need a system which is known as the Payroll Management System.

As to keep track of every employee and then calculating the wages of those employees accurately with taxes etc without any error is a very difficult task to do. Any error in the payment of any employees will leads to the wrong salary of that employee, which is not good. So, this task needs to done by a person who has experience in this. So it always better to hire one outsourcing company which can work for them, they will take care of all the legalizations. Instead of wasting your time in these activities you can easily focus on the enhancement of your company.

Xeam Ventures is one of the best company which can handle all your payroll-related need. You don't need to worry about your payroll system and staffing too, they will take care of all your requirements.

HOW MY RESUME CAN BE SELECTED

Recruiters have the power to put you in touch with the job that could change your life (or at least move your career to the next step). As such, you want to impress these people, and wow them with how qualified you are for the next big opportunity.

1. Put Summary in Your Resume: Putting a summary in your resume is a very important part of resume making. In the initial go reader have some idea about the insights of profile. When recruiters are reading resumes, you have seconds, not minutes, to make a great first impression. Also, it’s nice to think that your resume is being read by someone sitting quietly at a desk, giving it his or her fullest attention. But as we all know, sometimes the hectic reality of everyday life gets in the way of that. This person might very well be reading your stuff on the go, or while trying to multitask.

2. Be Specific: This is where your resume objective or summary statement really comes in handy. Think of it as your headline. If you’re looking for a management position, don’t just say, “seeking a management position.” Add keywords that can help the recruiter guide you to the job that’s right for you. Instead, try, “experienced sales and marketing professional seeking a management role with an innovative tech startup.” This gives the recruiter some material to work with when trying to fill particular roles. It saves their time and yours from trying to make you fit in a role you don’t even really want.

3. Cover letter: We need to make an effective cover letter too in which we can mention the reason for looking a Job Change. If you’ve outgrown your role, frame it as “looking for a growth opportunity.” If you were laid off or fired, spin it as “looking for new opportunities.” Recruiters have very less time to judge this thing, so might they less attention to this point.

4. Show off your tech experience:
Make sure you’re putting your tech skills and expertise up front on your resume, possibly by using a combination resume format that puts a summary and your skills up front, followed by the standard reverse-chronological job experience bullets. Just about all industries these days are looking for people who can roll with new technology. Make sure you’re up on the tech trends in your field, and learning them as necessary. That way, you can list these programs or processes proudly, front and center on your resume for recruiters and employers to see.

5. Accurate Data: Wherever possible on your resume, include concrete stats about what you produced or achieved. Produced 12 sales reports per year for the entire company. Met annual sales goals of RS 100,000 for the past four years. Again, you want to give the recruiter concrete information they can take and apply to the job description, or use to sell you to the hiring manager.

6. Include context about your current employer: A quick one-liner about what the company is, what it does, how it is sized, etc. can give the recruiter a very important context.

7. Explain gaps: Recruiters know what it looks like when you’re hiding information. If you do have gaps, try to give context in the cover letter. I was out of the workforce for a temporary personal matter, but am excited about bringing my expertise to this new role. Be honest—the recruiter can help you smooth gaps, but he or she can’t do anything if you offer no context.

How to Find Your Dream Career ?

When you were little, people probably asked, "What do you want to be when you grow up?" Maybe you said a doctor or an astronaut. Maybe you said an actor, or a lawyer, or a police officer. With starry eyes, you dreamed of the day you would live in a mansion and have all the luxury. A career seemed like something that would never happen, but now that the time has come for you to decide your interests have probably changed. Finding the right career for you can be difficult, but not impossible, so stay positive!

Steps to Analyse Your Dream Career

1. Ask yourself the key question. The respected philosopher Alan Watts said that the best way to find what you should be doing with your life was to ask yourself this important question: "What would you do if money were no object?" What if you won the lottery and you could do whatever you wanted to do with your life? Sure, you'd want to relax for a while, but eventually, you're going to get bored. So what would you do to make yourself really, truly happy?

2. Think about what it really is that makes you happy. Think about the basic components of that career experience and decide which are the aspects that pull you. Realize what attracts you to that career. Do you find happiness in making other people happy? Are you more attracted to the art of acting and the process of creating the work of art that is a film?

3. Look into what jobs provide similar feelings and experiences. Look for jobs that mimic the feelings that you're looking for from that career. For example, if you were a millionaire and would rather travel, jobs which mirror the experience you have would be a tour guide, a teacher abroad, or a flight attendant position.

4. Factor in your financial needs. If you're really in a job that fulfills you and makes you happy, getting rich off of it really won't matter to you. However, life is full of obligations that go beyond happiness. If your dream career can't help feed your family or pay your student loans, you might need to look into other options.

5. Analyze your hobbies. Many hobbies can be monetized. This often means starting a small business and the headaches that come with it, but you may end up with a career that you really enjoy. Before you dismiss your hobby as being something that you could never make money off of, do some searching on the internet. You may be surprised.

Best Ways to Make Payroll Management Process Easy and Quick

Payroll is an integral part of all organisations. The payroll department is not only responsible for employees' salary compensation, but it also plays a vital role in protecting the company's reputation by ensuring compliance with various legislations. Now with the latest technology it is very easy to manage the payroll process.

1. Payroll will be Audit-ready from Day One - Instead of scrambling at quarter-end or year-end to collate and reconcile payroll information, employers will adopt automated report generation that allows electronic submission, without any complex bureaucratic formalities.

2. Bots will Guide Query Resolution - Employees running from one department to the other, trying to get queries answered from HR, finance, or even accounts, is a familiar picture to us all. In 2019 AI-based chatbots (deployed as standalone apps or part of a larger employee service suite) will be a common answer to this problem.

3. Unbanked Employees will be Welcomed - Contrary to popular belief, a huge portion of the global population remains unbanked, even in developed economies. Platforms like Gusto will help bring this workforce segment into the payroll management ambit, easing access to the salaries they have rightfully earned.

4. Pay Transparency will be the Norm Everywhere - From ensuring that salary and wage levels are kept private, progressive employers will look at sharing salary levels publicly – from white-collar ranks to part-time workers. This will go a long way in reinforcing employer brand, communicating the values of fair pay and equality.

5. Manual Payroll will Finally become Obsolete - With payroll automation finally becoming extremely cost-effective as well as easy-to-deploy, a larger number of small businesses will abandon manual, paper-driven processes. This will be driven by increasing familiarity with tech and a boom in the payroll solutions market.

With these trends, now its quiet easy to handle the payroll Management System.

What is HR innovation?

HR innovation is the implementation of new ideas, methods, and technologies to better meet the ever-evolving requirements of the organization and its workforce. It’s about anticipating future needs and circumstances rather than simply finding a response to a changing present situation.
Example of HR Innovation
1. Recruitment innovation: Good recruitment is essential to the success of every organization. Perhaps this is why we see — a lot — of innovative technologies in this part of HR. There’s a solution for each part of the recruitment funnel which is Job adverts. Now it is possible to get the relevant crowd by setting up the advertisement audience.
2. Sourcing: Programmatic job advertising is something that’s blown over to HR from marketing (like so many other things). It’s the automated and targeted placement of job adverts.
Recruiters can specify exactly what characteristics, skills, and demographics they are looking for in a candidate. The software makes sure that the job adv is shown to the right people, on the right platform, and at the right time.
Some of the common examples of posting jobs advertisement are Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin where recruiters can post the jobs and can get the relevant crowd.
3. Preselection
Preselection technology enables organizations to hire selectively — and to bring people on board who add value. As such, selective hiring is a Human Resource best practice that can increase a company’s profit. Pre-employment assessment software has come a long way. No more need to manually go through dozens — sometimes even thousands — of CVs to make an initial selection; there are various solutions out there that can do the heavy lifting for you.
4. Onboarding
Strictly speaking, onboarding could be considered as a part of recruitment. But since a candidate needs to be hired in order to be onboarded, we’ll treat it as a separate example of HR innovation.
Onboarding is something that’s all too often being overlooked (and so is inboarding by the way). Worse even, the lack of a good onboarding process is one of the top reasons new hires leave prematurely.
Nowadays, there is an onboarding app which can take care of all these things. (Enboarder) takes care of your onboarding process.
5. Learning and development (L&D)
Another area where we see a lot of HR innovation is that of employee learning and development (L&D). If they want to, organizations are now in a position to offer their workforce on-demand, real-time learning. An L&D program that’s customized to the preferences of each individual employee. This means that employees can access the L&D content on any kind of device and learn about things that are in line with their personal career goals.
6. Talent and Performance Management: The Talent and Performance Management consists of five Key Factors:
1.Reporting: Reporting is one best and important way which can help to check employee productivity.
2.Performance management: Performance Management is more related to time management as to check the performance, we have to calculate our one day work done and then we have to analyze the ways to do it in a more managed way so that productivity can be increased.

3.L&D (Learning and development): An L&D program that’s customized to the preferences of each individual employee. This means that employees can access the L&D content on any kind of device and learn about things that are in line with their personal career goals.

What Is Payroll and its components?

Payroll Definition: Payroll can be defined in three different ways

1. Payroll refers to the employees you pay, along with employee information.
2. Payroll is also the amount you pay employees during each pay period.
3. Or payroll can refer to the process of actually calculating and distributing wages and taxes.

The Components of Payroll:

1. Gross Wages
The total dollar amount paid to the worker, before any deductions. The items listed below are deducted from gross wages to arrive at the worker’s net pay. Gross wages may include commissions, bonuses and other payment arrangements.

2. Benefits
Your company may provide health insurance, retirement plans and other benefits to workers. While your business pays some of these costs, a portion of the benefits may be deducted from the employee’s gross wages. Many of these deductions are taken out of pay before taxes are calculated.

3. Social Security and Medicare
You must deduct the employee’s portion of Social Security and Medicare payments from gross wages. Your employees may have additional deductions that are required by federal or state law.

4. Tax Withholdings
The employer must withhold the employee’s share of federal and state income taxes from payroll. Depending on the location, the company may also need to withhold local or city income taxes from payroll.

The amount of money the employee actually receives in their paycheck is known called net pay.

Advantages Of Outsourcing

Benefits Of Outsourcing

Outsourcing is a business practice in which a company hires another company or an individual to perform tasks, handle operations or provide services that are either usually executed or had previously been done by the company's own employees.

Reasons for outsourcing

Companies often outsource as a way to lower costs, improve efficiencies and gain speed. Companies that decide to outsource rely on the third-party providers' expertise in performing the outsourced tasks to gain such benefits. The underlying principle is that because the third-party provider focuses on that particular task, it is able to do it better, faster and cheaper than the hiring company could.

Advantages Of Outsourcing

There are many advantages of Outsourcing, the most common advantages are as follows:

1. Low Cost : Hiring a Outsourcing Company and get our Staffing and recruitment tasks done is much more cheaper than struggling by own for recruiting staff. When we are searching staff by own then first of all its a wastage of time that can be utilize in increasing company productivity.

2. Improve efficiency: The task done by Dedicated team of professionals is always better. If we hire a Dedicated staffing Agency then will surely give us better results in less time.

3. Speed : A staffing Agency can provide staff in very less time.

Basically these are common advantages of Outsourcing.

Difference Between Manual and Computerized Payroll System

Manual Payroll:
Manual payroll means that you, or another employee within your company, calculate the payroll each pay period entirely on paper. You should compute all gaining heads and statutory applicable deductions with no start-up costs.

Computerized Payroll System: The Computerized Payroll framework, many organizations offer PC programming that will help you in preparing payroll. You will need to input information for each employee when he is hired, but after that, the software will calculate payroll taxes and other deductions automatically.

The main difference between manual payroll and Computerized Payroll System:-

1). Speed: The main difference between manual and computerized systems is speed. Accounting software processes data and makes reports much quicker than manual frameworks. Calculations are done automatically in software programs, minimizing errors and increasing efficiency.

2). Cost: Second difference between manual and computerized systems is cost. Manual accounting with paper and pencil is much cheaper than a computerized system, which requires a machine and software. Other expenses associated with accounting software include training and program maintenance. Expenses can add up fast with costs for printers, paper, ink, and other supplies.

3). Backup: The third difference between manual and computerized systems the simplicity of backup of a computerized system. All transactions can be saved and backed up, in case of fire or other mishaps. You cannot do this with paper records unless you make copies of all pages–a long and inefficient process.

4). Accuracy: More Accuracy is there in case of the machine and lack of errors will be there. But in the case of manual payroll, chances of errors will be there.

5). Less Manpower Required: To calculate the same payroll in the same amount of time we need more manpower in case of manual as compared to computerized.

Factors Behind Successful HR Outsourcing Strategy

HR outsourcing strategy should be carefully thought of before approaching a third party vendor. There are a few factors that organizations need to keep in mind while developing a strategy for HR outsourcing, for it to be successful.

Organizations that are looking forward to outsourcing their HR functions mainly do so for the purpose of reducing overheads. However, it is important for an organization to realize that cost effectiveness is just one of the successful HR outsourcing benefits. There are many other advantages of outsourcing your HR functions, which if realized, can prove much more beneficial for the business.

Understanding internal HR functions

Many a times, organizations fail to understand and analyze the HR functions that are being taken care of by their own department. This inadequacy leads to an agreement between the organization and vendor that fails to define the services to be provided. As a result, it also fails to deliver the expected benefit of cost savings and requires a significant number of your internal staff for filling in the gaps along with watching over the outsourcing partner. Hence, for effective HR outsourcing, it is important that you first identify cost saving areas in your internal HR functions before you outsource them.

Understand your outsourcing options

HR outsourcing vendors generally provide strategic or transactional HR services, since there are many HR functions outsourced to vendors. The latter provides you with a niche service and is such that can be replicated across various clients. On the other hand, strategic HR outsourcing is more like the vendor being your business partner. Under this, the services provided are customized with respect to your needs and will be difficult to replicate across various clients. Hence, for successful HR outsourcing, it is important for an organization to understand the differences between the two types of services and identify the right one.

When We are in Need of Hr Outsourcing ??

1. Excessive Work Load: Whenever we have a lot of tasks to do and have insufficient time to do that particular task then we prefer to outsource that work.

2. To reduce cost: When we are new to that particular task and instead of doing investment on it we prefer to do that task by a team of Professionals.

3. Lack of Manpower: Whenever we have insufficient manpower then also we may think to outsource work and make it done properly.

How to Find Best Staff for your Business ?

Knowing how to find the perfect match professionally or filling a new position or role at your organization can feel like an uphill battle. You’re on a journey to find “the one”.

You sift through hundreds of bad items (or ineffective resumes) in order to find at least one, or hopefully, a handful of good ones. There will be loads of items you won’t need, like a wool sweater in July (or several inexperienced candidates after you just spent months training the one you had to fire). You’ll find things that were probably amazing at one point, but now have damage like a stain (or candidates who feel entitled from past experiences).

Periodically, you might even find something that seems perfect on the rack, but you go to try it on and realize something isn’t working (or the candidate who had the perfect resume, killed the interview, appears to have all the right qualifications but now has you questioning your decision after the first week). It’s difficult to know what the exact problem is but you can’t put your finger on it.

That's why hiring is the most important and crucial part of any organization. Hiring good staff for your organization leads you to increase your company productivity and helps you to enhance your business with new innovative ideas and similar in case of vise versa, hiring bad staff or Unfit staff for your organization leads you to decrease your business and decrease your company productivity.

Due to the above reasons, it is very important for any organization to hire the best employees that fit your organization needs. Now, this recruitment process is a very time-consuming process if the putting lot of your time in hiring people that also may decrease your company productivity because instead of giving time to your business strategic planning, you start giving time in recruiting which is not good for any Organisation.

IS THIS COMPANY FITS FOR ME??

To answer the above two questions we have to discuss "Organization fit" or what is fitness in terms of Organization ??

Let's have a Look:

What is organizational fit?

When an employee’s (personal and professional) values and beliefs align with and complement those of the company they work for, we speak of organizational – or culture – fit. As such, it’s important to establish what exactly defines a fit. And that starts with determining the organization’s values, norms, and vision.

However, organizational fit doesn’t mean you need to hire the same kind of people all the time.
It also constitutes much more than asking yourself: “Is this a person with whom you want to have a beer after work?” or wondering whether you have the same interests or lifestyles. A more useful question to pose is, for example: “Are this person and this company compatible in their way of working?”

1. Now, How to check that recruited candidates is fit for organization????

Imagine you’ve just recruited a great candidate. Three months into the job your freshly hired employee seems a little unmotivated; they get in late, leave early, take a few coffees breaks too many, etc.

When you talk to them about it you find they absolutely love the job, are more than happy with their compensation & benefits package, but somehow feel out of place.

Congratulations, it seems you’ve found yourself an organizational misfit…

It won’t be long before your now ex-superstar leaves the company – forcing you to start the recruitment process all over again – which is why it’s crucial to hire people who fit the organization and vice versa.

2. Is Company Fits for Employee or Vise Versa ???

While job fit, referring to how the person is suited for the specific role, is undoubtedly crucial to hiring the right employee, there are many reasons why finding candidates that mesh with your company culture is also important. Let’s take a look at a few of them.

The example we used in the intro of this article says it all. No matter how much someone loves the job they do – or how good they are at it – if they don’t feel like they’re in the right place they’ll end up leaving.

Luckily, the opposite is true too.

If you hire someone who fits your culture like a glove, they will be much more inclined to stay with the company for a longer period of time.

Employees who feel ‘at home’ in the organization they work for generally are happier which has a positive impact on their productivity – and of course their engagement. They’ll need less time to become fully operational for example and they’ll boost their colleagues’ morale while they’re at it.

3. Increased productivity
All of these elements lead to increased employee productivity. Once again, this stresses the importance of hiring for culture fit and not just for job fit.

Employees who feel like they’re right where they belong – professionally speaking – are super productive. They won’t get in late or leave early, let alone take coffee breaks every hour.

4. Better referrals

Employee referrals are a great way of recruiting new people. Referrals tend to be operational faster, they are more productive, more engaged, and stay with the company longer.

The reason for this ‘referral success’ is simple; since these candidates have been recommended by your current employees there’s already been some sort of natural organizational fit assessment.

Ways to assess organizational fit:

1. Standardized assessments: Always take assessments regularly after a certain time interval, so that one can able to see employee productivity. These can help in increasing employee productivity and increasing company productivity too.

2. Situational judgment tests: Include videos in your recruitment process that let candidates experience the job and find out how they respond to ‘real life’ on-the-job scenarios.

More broadly speaking, videos can be a great way to give applicants a sneak peek into your company. Just like it’s easier to get a feel for a candidate’s personality via a video call, it’s also easier to get a feel for the office vibe and the type of people working there through a short video.

3. Arrange a Team Meeting with Candidate: Try to arrange a team meeting of the candidates with other employees. So, they’ll get a feel for how employees interact with each other when they’re in a more relaxed, not purely work-only setting. As such, they’ll be able to better imagine themselves working for your organization (or not).

4. Ask the right questions: Always try to ask the right questions during the interview, now the meaning of "Right" may vary from organization to organization. Try to tell candidates about the company work culture, so that they can decide whether they will be comfortable in that environment.

5. Do your reference checks: Generally, during the interview, most the people trying to behave more like a sugarcoated sweet but in actuall, they were not. If you ask the right questions to them, you will get to know more insights about their behavior and activities.

So from these Top 5 Points, you will be able to judge that employee you want to select will fit for your organization or not and same in the case in candidate too.

10 Interesting facts to Increase Productivity at Work

Being more productive at work isn't rocket science, but it does require being more deliberate about how you manage your time. This post will walk you through 10 simple but effective strategies for increasing your productivity at work.

1. Track and limit how much time you're spending on tasks.
You may think you're pretty good at gauging how much time you're spending on various tasks. However, some research suggests only around 17 percent of people are able to accurately estimate the passage of time. A tool like Rescue Time can help by letting you know exactly how much time you spend on daily tasks, including social media, email, word processing, and apps.

2. Set self-imposed deadlines.
While we usually think of stress as a bad thing, a manageable level of self-imposed stress can actually be helpful in terms of giving us focus and helping us meet our goals. For open-ended tasks or projects, try giving yourself a deadline, and then stick to it. You may be surprised to discover just how focused and productive you can be when you're watching the clock.

3. Follow the "two-minute rule."  : The tasks which take less amount of time do them on an earlier basis or do them immediately, as by doing this one task is going to be reduced from our tasks list.

4. Just say no to meetings.
Meetings are one of the biggest time-sucks around, yet somehow we continue to unquestioningly book them, attend them and, inevitably, complain about them. According to Atlassian, the average office worker spends over 31 hours each month in unproductive meetings. Before booking your next meeting, ask yourself whether you can accomplish the same goals or tasks via email, phone, or Web-based meeting (which may be slightly more productive).

5. Quit multitasking.
While we tend to think of the ability to multitask as an important skill for increasing efficiency, the opposite may, in fact, be true. Psychologists have found attempting to do several tasks at once can result in lost time and productivity. Instead, make a habit of committing to a single task before moving on to your next project.

6. Give up on the illusion of perfection.
It's common for entrepreneurs to get hung up on attempting to perfect a task--the reality is nothing is ever perfect. Rather than wasting time chasing after this illusion, bang out your task to the best of your ability and move on. It's better to complete the task and move it off your plate; if need be, you can always come back and adjust or improve it later.

7. Take exercise breaks.
Using work time to exercise may actually help improve productivity, according to a study published in the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine. If possible, build in set times during the week for taking a walk or going to the gym. Getting your blood pumping could be just what's needed to clear your head and get your focus back.

8. Work in 90-minute intervals.
Researchers at Florida State University have found elite performers (athletes, chess players, musicians, etc.) who work in intervals of no more than 90 minutes are more productive than those who work 90 minutes-plus. They also found that top-performing subjects tend to work no more than 4.5 hours per day. Sounds good to me!

 9.  Say no phones calls: In office hours, it is good to restrict the use of phones and attend phones calls. This may reduce office hours productivity.

10. Always be Punctual: Always be punctual while entering and leaving office.
